People helping people. Together.
Getting My Help is a community-driven mental wellness foundation. We unite people, stories, and trusted resources around a single purpose — so no one feels alone in their mental wellness journey.
What we do
A community united for mental wellness.
We are a community of people united to increase awareness of mental wellness and to encourage everyone to get the help they need for all mental wellness issues. Through stories, vetted resources, and the power of creativity, we touch hearts, dissolve barriers, and redefine our shared understanding of this vital issue.
Founded by NFL legend Greg Ellis, the foundation grew from a simple, hard truth: too many of us — including people Greg loves and once played alongside — have suffered in silence. We exist so the next person doesn’t have to.
The work
Four pillars, one mission.
The foundation works on multiple fronts so support shows up wherever it's needed — awareness, stories, trusted providers, and a structured self-help path for those who want it.
Community
Mental Wellness Walks, events, and conversations that build a real, supportive network.
Stories
Personal video testimonials from people in the community — in their own words.
Trusted resources
A curated, vetted directory of mental wellness providers — searchable across the U.S.
Self-Help portal
An optional companion app with a personal plan, daily check-ins, journaling, and human coaches.
What we believe
Values that guide every decision.
People helping people
We don't speak at the community — we speak with it. Real stories, real voices, real support.
Awareness without stigma
Mental wellness deserves the same daily attention as physical wellness. We work to make that the default conversation.
Creativity opens doors
Statistics inform; stories transform. Film, art, and lived experience are how we move hearts.
A conduit, not a clinic
We connect people to trusted, vetted providers — and to each other. We make the right next step easy.
